Description for route of synthesis:
In a mixed solvent of acetonitrile and water, perfluorooctyliodane is mixed with sodium hydrosulfite and sodium bicarbonate, and heated to the reaction temperature for reduction sulfonation reaction; Maintaining a weakly alkaline environment through a buffer system during the reaction process promotes the conversion of thiosulfonation; After the reaction is completed, the target product sodium heptafluorooctane sulfonate is obtained through post-treatment steps such as cooling, filtration, concentration, and recrystallization.
