Description for route of synthesis:
Using dichloromethane as the solvent, linoleic acid is mixed with oxalyl chloride and slowly reacted at low temperature to convert carboxyl groups into acyl chloride; During the reaction process, the acidic gas generated is treated by a tail gas absorption device. After the reaction is complete, excess reagents and solvents are removed under reduced pressure, and then purified by distillation to obtain the target product, linolenic acid chloride.
