Description for route of synthesis:
Mix 2-nitroaniline with ammonium thiocyanate using methanol as the solvent, and slowly introduce chlorine gas for thiocyanation reaction under low temperature conditions; During the reaction process, the selectivity of the reaction is ensured by controlling the temperature and the rate of chlorine gas injection. After the reaction is complete, the target product 2-nitro-4-thiocyanatoaniline is obtained by quenching, filtering, washing, recrystallization treatment, and vacuum drying.
