Remarks
Description of route of synthesis:
First, demethylate 6-methoxy-2- (4-methoxyphenyl) benzothiophene under acidic conditions to hydrolyze the two methoxy groups into phenolic hydroxyl groups; Subsequently, pyridine and triethylamine were used as binding agents, and acetic anhydride was added dropwise at controlled temperature to acetylate and esterify the hydroxyl groups of bisphenol A. After the reaction is complete, water is added to quench the mixture. The organic phase is extracted with ethyl acetate, washed with water, concentrated, and purified by recrystallization to obtain 2- [4- (acetoxy) phenyl] benzo [B] thiophene-6-ol acetate.
